SSMS Tools Pack 1.9 is out! - Mladen Prajdić
SSMS Tools Pack is an very exciting Add-In (Add-On) for Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 2005, 2008, 2008 R2 and respective Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express Versions. This tool is developed by Mladen Prajdic (Blog | Twitter).
Mladen Prajdic is an SQL Server MVP and C# developer, and a very good guide for your holidays (especially Cres). :-)
SSMS Tools Pack contains a few upgrades to the SSMS IDE that were missing, especially:
- SQL Snippets
- Window Connection Coloring
- Query Execution History and Current Window History
- Format SQL
- Search Table, View or Database Data
- Run one script on multiple databases
- Copy execution plan bitmaps to clipboard or file
- Search Results in Grid Mode
- Generate Insert statements from resultsets, tables or database
- Regions and Debug sections
- Running custom scripts from Object Explorer
- CRUD stored procedure generation
- New query template
- General options
Some of these features are now a part in SSMS 2008 but not all - NOR still useful NOR helpful.
Features I like:
Many interesting features, and I mean many!
So, take a look - and feel free :-)
I wish you a nice day,
tosc
